Incubane is hiring a senior Workday Extend developer to focus on agent development, enterprise architecture, and agentic strategy for HRIS teams building on Workday and beyond.

Workday Agents are moving from concept to production, and Incubane is at the front of that shift. We are part of the early adopter program for Workday Developer Agent and the work our clients want to do is real, scoped, and getting more complex. This role exists because we need someone who can deliver it.

You will work with HRIS leaders and Workday architects at enterprise companies to design and build agentic solutions end to end. That means helping clients think through agent strategy, advising on enterprise architecture, and then building the thing. You will use Workday Extend and Orchestrate as your primary platform. We are also an Anthropic partner, so the work will go further than Workday where the problem calls for it.

The clients you work with are technical and senior. They will ask hard questions about security, data, governance, and what agents should and should not do autonomously. You need to be comfortable in that conversation as well as in the code.

You will work closely with the partners and the rest of a small, senior team. There is no handoff to a delivery team. You design it, you build it, you help the client adopt it. That is how we work.

In your first year, a good outcome looks like this: you have delivered at least one end-to-end agentic solution in a client's Workday tenant, you have contributed to how Incubane packages and repeats that work, and you have helped shape what we say to clients about agent strategy.

What we need from you

Hands-on experience building on Workday Extend, including custom applications in a production tenant
Experience with Workday Orchestrate, including orchestration design and deployment
Proven experience designing or building agentic solutions, inside or outside of Workday
Able to advise on enterprise architecture for agents: scope, trust boundaries, human-in-the-loop design, and governance
Comfortable working directly with HRIS leaders, Workday product owners, and solution architects as the senior technical voice in the room
Based in the Netherlands or Poland, able to work hybrid

Nice to have

Familiarity with Anthropic's tooling or experience building with large language model APIs in a production context
Experience in a boutique or partner-led delivery model, where you own outcomes rather than tasks
Background in Workday security model and data model, not just the application layer
